Community Service Goals

Goal: Have a strong and visible presence in the Clinton Community and surrounding region

Goals Achieved:

Conducted a community needs assessment workshop with all members to establish new local service projects

Raised over $14,000 for the American Cancer Society by sponsoring the “Rubber Ducky Derby” in the Town of Clinton

Participated in American Cancer Society’s Relay-For-Life as a major sponsor Sponsored Sprintin Clinton - 5K Race which raised funds for Club events and scholarships

Conducted a Highway Clean-up in Town of Clinton

Sponsored an event which provided Flu Shots, Food Drive and Kid I.D. - gave more than 60 flu shots

Conducted a local Blood Drive - more than 20 pints of blood were donated

Co-Sponsor of a local Fishing Derby for youth of the Clinton community

Provided community donations to Clinton Fire, EMS & Police Departments

Provided donations to the Hunterdon County Youth Facility and participated in decorating their facility for Christmas

Provided donations to the Wellness Community, an organization which provides support for individuals diagnosed with cancer

Provided Christmas presents to a family in need

Provided scholarships for youth to attend a local YMCA Camp

Obtained numerous household products from a sponsoring company for the District Battered Woman’s Shelter Project

Donated funds to a local food pantry at Thanksgiving

A member donated a wheel chair to boy who became paralyzed from a motorcycle accident

Provided Care Packages to Troops in Iraq

Contributed to Gift of Life - Anna & Christopher

Provided Books to children in South Africa and Jamicia

Obtained donated bikes to Pedals for Progress

Built a Deck for a disabled homeowner

Assisted Fire Victims in Glen Gardner

Youth Goals

Goal: Maintain active youth programs

Goals Achieved:

         Participated in the Bridging- the-Gap Program at Polytech College

         Sponsored an Earlyact Club at the Clinton Public Elementary School

         Sponsored two students for RYLA

International Service Goals

Goal: Support for Homes of Hope Ecuador Project

Goals Achieved: 

        Sponsor, team member and contributor of the Homes of Hope Project

        Provided supplies for the team that went to Ecuador

Vocational Service Goals

Goal: Maintain support for local vocational programs

Goals Achieved:

Provided scholarships for college students

Sponsored a high school student studying in Chile in the Rotary Exchange Program

Sponsor of a Student Essay Contest
